Diljeet Dosanjh totally rocks it as the adult Chamkila, capturing his musical essence like a pro. He portrays Chamkila as this down-to-earth, curious dude who’s super into his tunes and always flashing a smile. Instead of just riding the wave of success, he’s all about grinding and paving his own path with tons of grit. He’s aware of the hurdles ahead, but staying true to his vibe is his top priority. At first glance, he might seem a bit shy and innocent, but don’t let that fool you – he’s got a savvy side that lets him navigate situations to his benefit.

Parineeti Chopra’s performance is described as bland, with moments where she seems lost, especially contrasted against the real Amarjot Kaur’s portrayal, highlighting her acting shortcomings. On the other hand, Anjum Batra delivers a standout performance as Tikki, the devoted friend of Chamkila in the film. Batra’s portrayal of Tikki highlights a complex relationship that adds depth to the storyline, marking a contrast between the two performances.
