The auteurs Nikkhil Advani and Nikhil Gonsalves have presented the story of the Mumbai Diaries 26/11 Mumbai Terror attack in a very rational and constructive way. S1.E1- Diagnosis-

Three new residential interns ( Diya, Sujata, and Ahaan) appear at the Bombay General Hospital and come to know that their guide ( Dr. Kaushik) will leave the hospital soon. While they are getting familiar with the hospital, ten young men grasp Mumbai in a terrible way. Suddenly several injured bodies start coming and the residents face the most dreadful situation of their life.

S1.E2- Complications

The horrendous situation of the city intensifies quickly and everyone starts to panic. Diya’s father throws a party at Palace Hotel where Dr. Kaushik’s wife works. As two of the terrorists reach the hotel Dr. Kaushik and Diya become anxious about their families.

S1.E3- Malignant

Mansi and other reporters face a frightening situation when terrorists start firing at them near a metro station. Top police officers Kelkar and Savankar are taken to the hospital with two injured terrorists. The doctors make an effort to save their lives.

S1.E4- Anatomy

Mansi, the news reporter makes an attempt to injure herself and admit to the hospital just to know the inside story. On the other side Ananya (manager of Palace Hotel and Dr Kaushik’s wife) tries to calm down the terrified guests.

S1.E5- Side Effects

Dr. Kaushik can not save the life of Kelkar, chief of ATC, and faces the upshot. Slowly the internal news of the hospital starts coming on the Television via Mansi. Ananya, the manager, begins to move the guests.

S1.E6- Relapse

Terrorists reach the Bombay General Hospital and start firing. Dr. Subramaniam and Dr. Kaushik start to move out the patients safely. Mansi, the news reporter, encounters the outrage for her being a reckless citizen.

S1.E7- Remission

The terrorists inside the hospital gather again and continue firing. Dr. Kaushik and others get back to work as an emergency occurs. Meanwhile, a backup team reaches to the hospital to rescue the patients and the staff.

S1.E8- Recovery

The terror-stricken night comes to a climax. Anannya successfully moves out the guests safely with the help of NSG. Mansi finally realized what her reckless journalism could have caused. Dr. Kaushik, other doctors, and staff are given a standing ovation for their excellent service.
